Iraqi press reported eyewitnesses in last week’s breakout of bloody confrontation in the holy city of Karbala spoke out about thousand of Iranians, the IRGC members who were trying to blow up the holy shrine of Imam Hussein in order to blaze further sectarian violence in Iraq.
Eyewitnesses disclosed that on the roof tops of some houses during the bloody events of past week which has left more than 100 causalities, there were Iranian snipers shooting in the crowd, the Iraqi Rafiden television channel reported yesterday.
A person called Ali Shariaat who was Iranian and a leader of armed militia group, personally supervised mortar attack targeting the holy shrine.
The relatives of victims in the holy city of Karbala gave three day time deadline to Iranian consulate and its related groups to hand over the criminals responsible for the attacks. But according to informed sources Iranian consulate in Karbala helped its criminal operatives to leave the city.
A leader of the Iraqi Accordance Front, Omar Abdulsattar said, “When some militia stirred violence in the southern provinces, Maliki acted swiftly. However, when militias destroyed Baghdad, the same government stood by idle and just watched,” Rafidein added.
