Euronews, 22June 2017 – EU leaders have agreed to extend sanctions imposed on Russia for its interventon in Ukraine by a further six months, EU Council President Donald Tusk announced.

The tweet confirms the EU’s view that Moscow had failed to implement the conditions of the Minsk peace agreement. The move extends the current sanctions until January 2018
