Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in Istanbul before departing for France that steps being taken by Russia and the airstrikes in Syria are all considered unacceptable for Turkey, AFP reported Sunday. Russia is making a grave mistake he added.
Russia’s measures in Syria are concerning and disappointing, he said, going on to warn they will isolate Russia in this region.
Not only Russia but Iran is supporting an individual (Assad) that has imposed a reign of terror in Syria, the Turkish president added.
