United Nations Security Council in an emergency meeting reviewed the current crisis in Ukraine. This session was held at the request of Russia, where this country’s envoy called on Western countries to not commit crimes.
US envoy Samantha Power said Russian officials are seeking to implement the same scenario in eastern Ukraine as they did back in Crimea, adding the US will not be deceived by such abhorring measures.
