Losing the northern fronts, the Assad regime is now attempting to make advances in Aleppo where they have faced stiff resistance from the rebels, Orient TV reported.
Syrian rebels staged an operation using the tactic of speed and the element of surprise in launching their attacks against centers of Assad forces in the three areas of al-Naqarin and Sheikh Nazzar. This center hosted Assad’s elite forces in addition to mercenaries of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria and other fundamental groups who have recently been dispatched to this area. This surprise operation by the rebels inflicted a high number of casualties to Assad’s forces.
