Al-Arabiya TV reported that the Egyptian Minister of Prosecution Councils and Legal affairs revealed the plot for assassination of Walid Jumblatt, leader of the Lebanon’s Progressive Socialist Party, in Beirut Airport by clerical regime’s agents.

Al-Arabiya TV said: Mufid Shahab, the Egyptian Minister of Prosecution Councils and Legal affairs revealed: Fuad al-Saniura, Lebanon’s PM, during his visit to Cairo, gave some maps to Egyptian Foreign Ministry which indicated that Hezbollah’s communication network threatened the government of Lebanon. Walid Jumblatt was supposed to come to Egypt, but he cancelled his trip, because some intelligence had been received that a plan was scheduled for his assassination in Beirut Airport using Hezbollah’s communication network.
