Al-Mustaqbal daily, printed in Beirut, wrote: in the session of foreign relations committee of the U.S. Congress, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Egyptian Foreign Minister, reiterated that Iran and Syria have a negative role in Lebanon and the whole region.
He added: the Iranian and Syrian regimes are responsible for the awful situation in the region. Asking the U.S. Congress representatives to confront such interventions in Lebanon he said: Egypt will not leave Lebanon, we hope you don’t leave Lebanon either.
