Egypt did not participate in the Non Aligned Movement(NAM) countries session held in Tehran on Tuesday.

The Al-Jazeera TV reported: Ahmad Abul-Gheit, Egyptian Foreign Minister, didn’t take part in the meeting due to the present tensions in the relations between Egypt and the Iranian regime.

Following the broadcast of a film of Anwar Sadat’s assassination, the late Egyptian President, the relation of the two countries has become deteriorated.
