The Egyptian president Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi said his country would stand on the side of the Persian Gulf nation countries. He insisted that the position of Egypt is “to insure the security of brother Arab countries which rises from the deep feelings the Egyptian people have.”
Al-Sisi said in a statement following a meeting of high level Egyptian military officials that the security of the Red Sea and Bab-al Mandab Strait has the highest importance for Egypt. “The Security of Bab al-Mandab is connected to the security of Arab national Security” and that Egypt would do anything to insure that security.
