Al-Arabiya Website, May 14, 2012 – The government of Egypt closed Iranian regime’s Arabic language TV channel office, Al-Alam, in this country.
Egyptian press cited internal ministry as saying, after the security forces went into al-Alam office in Cairo and arrested a number of its staff, the office was closed down.
These sources reported that this dossier was referred to public prosecutor office and said that the security forces seized all the al-Alam belongings. In its report al-Arabiya reiterated that al-Alam office which belongs to the Iranian regime was closed down since it did not have license.
