The Egyptian government has opened the Rafah passage to wounded Palestinians of the Gaza Strip. The opening of this passage will be temporary due to security reasons.
United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon had called for this passage to be opened to have humanitarian aid flow into Gaza. A number of injured Palestinians are being treated in Cairo’s al-Halal Hospital.
