The third day of military operations by Egypt forces against fundamentalists in the northern areas of Sinai Peninsula continued, Al Arabiya TV reported on Thursday, September 10th.
The cities of Oreish, Sheikh Zawid and Rafah were scenes of major battles. The Egyptian Army was able to kill 30 of the fundamentalist terrorists and 41 others on charges of cooperating with the fundamentalists. The vehicles used by these suspects were also destroyed and a large number of improvised explosive devices defused.
