Al Arabiya, 28 December 2017– Members of the Egyptian army were killed, including two officers, Thursday, in an attack by terrorists on the road to Al Arish close to Bir al-Abd area, reported Al Arabiya.

An Egyptian soldier was also killed and two others were injured in another terrorist attack targeting a police vehicle near a bank in Al-Arish city in north Sinai.

Tribal sources told Al Arabiya that a terrorist attack targeted a police armored vehicle securing a street near the real estate bank, killing a soldier and a citizen of Al-Arish named Mohammed Kashef who was passing by a car distributing food.

They said that the attack began with an explosive device thrown at the armored vehicle followed by the firing of shots, while the security forces surrounded and combed the area in pursuit of the perpetrators.
