Al-Hurra T.V. reported on Dec. 9, that the former Iraqi Prime Minister Dr. Ayad Allawi attacked the policies of the Maliki’s government and said: “We oppose the political process adopted by the government. At the present time there is a sectarian policy followed by the government which is the main cause of the present situation in Iraq. Maliki has disappointed even the people who brought him to power.”

In his interview with the Iraqi daily “Baghdad” he also said: “some regional and international countries push Iraq toward this situation. And Maliki is relying on the support of some non-Arab parties in the region.”
