According to Asharqiya TV the National Front for Salvation of Diyala released a statement and called on the political currents and people’s committees to protest against Ahmadinejad’s trip to Iraq.
This statement refers to the Iranian regime’s role and its affiliated elements to create insecurity and instability in Iraq and murder of Iraqi intellectuals and innocent citizens.
The statement of the National Front for Salvation of Diyala also points out to the meddling of the Iranian regime’s embassy in Baghdad in the internal affairs of Iraq and asked for dissolution of all militia forces affiliated with Iran and halting stealing of Iraq’s oil by that regime and paying indemnity to its people.
Asharqiya added that Diyala province had witnessed in the last several days a series of demonstrations against the planned visit of Ahmadinejad from Iraq.
