Two police officers in the city of Oreish in northern Egypt in Sinai Province were killed in a terrorist attack on Wednesday, August 26th, Al Arabiya TV reported.
The two officers killed were commuting in the street when they were attacked by unknown individuals, security and medical sources told Al Arabiya TV.
North Sinai is the heartland of fundamentalist groups and the Egyptian Army has for the past two years launched widespread operations in this area to prevent their assault on security forces.
