Crocker: Iraqis See Iranian Meddling To Create Disunion in Iraq

In an interview with Asharq al-Awsat daily, published in London, Ryan Crocker, United States’ ambassador to Iraq called again the Iranian meddling in Iraq as one of the sources of insecurity in Iraq.

Ryan Crocker Said: Iraqi people oppose Iran’s meddling in their country’s internal affairs. They believe such meddling serves dissension in their country.

He added: Iraq needs security, and the US patience in Iraq is not unlimited.
Asharq al-Awsat wrote: This Crocker’s remarks refer to the criticisms against Nouri Maliki, Iraqi Prime Minister. Many of the United States officials and congressmen consider Nouri Maliki’ government incapable in establishing security in Iraq.
