Baghdad TV, 2 Jan 2013 – Senior Iraqiya Coalition member Dr. Zafer al-Ani said the consensus in popular demonstrations, its spread to other provinces and the demands being similar shows the legitimacy of these requests.
In a telephone interview with Baghdad TV, Dr. Zafer al-Ani said this shows these demands are feasible by the government.

 
“When the prime minister himself admits there are female prisoners arrested because of their relatives, in my opinion this alone is enough to place him and his security apparatus before court. What he lacks is not just the law, but also he has no conscience or morals. This confession alone is enough to add more energy to the uprising people,” he said.
