Iraqiya spokeswoman Maysoon Damalouji described comments by the Iranian regime’s ambassador to Iraq as violation of Iraq’s sovereignty, Nina Press reported. Regarding the presence of the People’s Mojahedin (PMOI) in Iraq, Damalouji emphasized this case is treated according to Iraq’s interests and is considered Islamic and Arabic fortitude and moral.
“The ambassador of the Iranian regime, or any other country, does not have the right to make remarks to silence Iraqi security and intelligence institutes or the Internal Ministry,” said Iraqiya official spokeswoman in response to remarks made by the Iranian regime’s ambassador claiming to file lawsuit against those accusing the Iranian regime of meddling in Iraq’s internal affairs. She went on to emphasize that weapon and explosives used to kill Iraqis are all coming from Iran.
