Iraqi MP Khaled al-Alawni of the Muttahedoon slate said there is a red line in allying with Maliki’s State of Law coalition, al-Tagheer TV reported.
“There are discussions now regarding forming coalitions and plans to establish the next government, including the Supreme Islamic Council of Iraq, the Sadrists, Muttahedoon, Iraqiya and the Kurdish coalition, and each have a vision about forming the future government and change. We have not defined a red line for any specific person, other than some factions that we don’t to ally with, like Maliki’s State of Law,” he said.
