The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported from Hama province on Sept. 5, 2016 that a man from al-Latamina was killed by a landmine exploded around the town. Reports also indicates that the IS lashed a man 25 lashes for swearing with another name than Allah. Clashes are taking place between regime forces and rebels around Maardas and Tal al-Samman in the northern countryside of Hama amid human losses in both sides. Rebels continued targeting regime forces in Kafraa in the northern countryside leading to losses in regime forces.
