
US Vice President Dick Cheney arrived in Baghdad on his first stop of 10 day visit to the Mideast, news agencies reported on Monday Mar. 17.
Fears about Iran’s rising influence will be a key topic of U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney’s trip to the Mideast in his private talks at each stop, Associated Press reported.
Cheney’s trip includes visits to Iraq, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Israel, the Palestinian territories and Turkey. Bush is also supposed to visit the Mideast region in May, AP added.
