Releasing a statement, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Governor of California, announced that California would cut ties with companies doing business in Iran.
In this statement , California Governor stated : I look forward to signing legislation to divest from Iran to take an equally powerful stand against terrorism .
According to this legislation he would sign legislation requiring California’s multibillion-dollar state pension funds to divest from the country(Iran).
So far, several US States have implemented sanctions aginst the Iranian regime.
