INTV, 9 Nov 2013 – In the latest report on the status of P5+1 nuclear talks with Iran in Geneva that enters its third day on Saturday, no breakthrough has taken place. In the Geneva talks, Iran has asked the US to decrease the sanctions and deal on its nuclear program.
US Secretary of State John Kerry met with mullahs’ foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Friday afternoon. After this meeting it was announced the negotiations will continue into a third day, but there are still obstacles. Senior Russian and Chinese officials are also joining the talks.
This source added the West is demanding limitations imposed on uranium enrichment in Iran, while Iran is seeking decrease in sanctions that have cause political unrest inside the country.
