FRANCE 24 15 December 2017- In an interview with FRANCE 24, Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina called the actions of the army against the Rohingya minority in Myanmar “unacceptable”. Hundreds of thousands have fled the violence to find refuge in neighboring Bangladesh. Hasina told FRANCE 24 that Dhaka has received guarantees from Myanmar on the repatriation of the refugees. “They agreed that they will have shelter and they will make all the arrangements for their safety [and] security,” she said.
