Australian daily the Sidney Morning Herald wrote that Iranian regime was attempting to buy nuclear equipment from Australian companies, but it failed and the deal was stopped due to the fear of companies on the use of equipment for manufacturing atomic bomb.

A diplomat that has obtained the information from a committee which supervises the NPT regulation said: “Iranian regime has attempted several times for similar deals around the world during last nine years.”

Diplomats also said Iranian regime is using subsidiary companies to obtain nuclear equipment to clear off its finger print.
