The US State Dept. has expressed condolences to the families of the victims of triple Saudi attacks condemning these heinous terrorist attacks, especially at the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
John Kirby, Assistant Secretary and Department Spokesperson, said in a statement on July 5, 2016: The United States extends its condolences to the families of all those killed and injured in yesterday’s attacks in Jeddah, Qatif, and Medina, Saudi Arabia. We condemn the violence that has marred the final days of Ramadan and brought sorrow to so many innocent families.
We stand — as we have stood — with the people of Saudi Arabia as they confront the scourge of terrorism. These attacks underscore the scope of the threat we all face, and remind us of the need to continue to stay focused on combatting violent extremism and bringing those responsible for it to justice
