Assault on E. Ghouta: Orient News correspondent injured

Orient Net, Feb 19 2018— Assad regime forces targeted Orient News team in Eastern Ghouta while covering the ongoing assault against civilians in the area, injuring 3 of them.

Orient news correspondent, Maher Abdulaziz, responsible for Live Broadcast had injuries in the head and was moved three hours later to receive treatment in hospital.
His colleagues Natheer al-Turk and Mohammad Mereo were also injured as shelling targeted their broadcast vehicle in Eastern Ghouta.

 

Our correspondent explained that heavy shelling and airstrikes delayed access of rescue teams to their location.

Assad assault on Eastern Ghouta, backed by Russian air forces, has killed today more than 50 civilians and injured 200 others.
