Russian and Syrian warplanes pounded 17 towns and villages in Deraa province after the ground offensive by the Assad and Iranian regime forces to capture Sheikh-Meskin was repelled during clashes with the armed Syrian opposition forces. 
Activists say that Russian warplanes bombed the city of Nava five times killing a number of civilians including the entire family of five.
