A UN humanitarian affairs spokesman said from the beginning of the UN Security Council resolution on humanitarian support for Syria there have been no progress in sending aid to the Syrian people, referring to suggestions given to send humanitarian support to areas but on the ground no measures have been taken in this regard.
The UN Security Council has called for the immediately lifting of sieges imposed on various Syrian cities and towns, including the Camp Yarmouk. This site has been under a full food and military siege imposed by Assad forces.
