Orient Net, 3 April 2018– Looting has become common in Deir Ezzor city by regime militias, taking the advantage of absence of house owners who refused to come back after regime took the city months ago.

The local Euphrates Post network said on Monday (April 2), regime militants are looting civilians’ properties, including granite from floors of houses, electric and telephone cables and any items composed of copper, to sell it in kilos.

The network said regime militias are using children, 14-year-old or younger, in their looting crimes.

Assad regime failed to get life in Deir Ezzor city back to normal under the loose security situation, the destroyed infrastructures and lack of basic life needs.
