Syrian rebels in southern Aleppo made major advances and were able to liberate new strategic areas, Orient TV reported.
In southern Aleppo and around Assad forces’ intelligence center intense clashes erupted between rebels and Assad forces, during which Syrian rebels were able to take complete control over a base belonging to Assad military intelligence units along with the Azzan and Tal Shaheed heights.
Syrian state-run media said Colonel Abdol-Latif Suleiman of Assad’s forces in the Azzan region was killed by Syrian rebels.
