Asad Regime renews shelling in Jisr al-Shughour, kills civilians

Orient Net, FEBRUARY 16, 2018— Two civilians were killed, and five others were wounded as regime missiles hit rural Jisr al-Shughour city in Syria’s Idlib province.

Orient News correspondent confirmed that regime rocket-launchers, positioned in the Jurin military camp in northern Homs province, targeted civilians during Friday prayers in a mosque of southern Idlib’s Jisr al-Shughour, killing two civilians and inuring many others.

 

 

Syria Civil Defense reported on Thursday that one volunteer rescuer was killed, and others were injured while rescuing the injured, as Russian air strikes hit twice a residential location in Tarmala town in Idlib province. 

Russian aircraft, backing Assad regime in its assault against opposition-held Idlib, targeted on Wednesday the last operating medical point, ‘Sham’ makeshift hospital in southern Idlib’s Has village, taking it out of service.

Idlib is the largest chunk of Syrian territory held by opposition factions against Assad regime.
