In an interview with al-Sharqiya TV, Iraqi Parliament Speaker Osama al-Nujaifi stressed the Arab Spring will reach Iraq.
“Due to the tense and dire political and economic situation, the Arab Spring will also reach Iraq,” al-Nujaifi said. “Rationing is taking place based on religious, sectarian, political party and regional backgrounds. There is differences in opinions regarding the form of the government, the amount of authority is not clear and much of the population has become discouraged… If these issues are not resolved, the Arab Spring will soon arrive.”
