
Al-Sharqiya TV, 31 October 2010 – Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa described the invitation of Iraqi leaders to a meeting in Riyadh proposed by the King of Saudi Arabia as a benevolent call with the purpose of establishing unity and distancing from differences and its effects on the political trend in Iraq.
He issued a declaration stressing he had received numerous calls from Iraqi parties in this regard, saying he would continue his communication expressing the Arab League’s desire of unity in Iraq.
Amr Moussa emphasized the continuation of current efforts to achieve national reconciliation in Iraq.
