Arab coalition warplanes attack Houthi position in Yemen

Arab coalition warplanes conducted further airstrikes against Houthi positions and those of troops loyal to ousted dictator Ali Abdullah Salah in the provinces of Ta’izz, Ad Dali, Ibb and north of Sana’a, Al Arabiya TV reported on Thursday, August 20th.
The main purpose of these bombings is to cut all roads used as logistical routes between Lahij and Ta’izz provinces. Houthi militants were also bombed in al-Bayda and Ma’rib provinces.
On the other hand, Apache gunships also attacked positions of Salah troops near the Saudi-Yemen border.

Militants who intended to infiltrate into Saudi soil were targeted by these attack choppers, suffering many casualties and damages.
