Arab coalition warplanes launched massive airstrikes on the Deilami airbase in Sana’a, Al Arabiya TV reported on Sunday, August 16th. In Maa’reb Province 15 positions belonging to Houthi militants were also targets of airstrikes by Arab coalition warplanes. These bombing raids destroyed a large amount of equipment, machinery and tanks belonging to the militants.
Following the string of back-to-back victories gained by the popular resistance forces in Ta’izz Province fighters have captured an area adjacent to the presidential palace and a fort. They are readying their troops for a final push to take over the palace.
