Allawi: we will refer to The Hague on Iraq’s vote rigging

In an interview with al-Baghdadiya TV, former Iraqi premier Ayad Allawi in response to a question asking do you approve a third term for Maliki?
“No… we will not accept that. We in the Parliament with 180 MPs of the 220 voted there should be no third term for the prime minister,” he said.
“Even if my neck is chopped off I will never beg Iran to agree for me to become prime minister…” Allawi added.
“We will go to the International Criminal Court… even if the Parliament speaker doesn’t agree with it we have the signature of 50 MPs and we are asking for an investigation. We have sent complaints to the Independent High Electoral Commission, the United Nations, European Union and even The Hague that if Iraqi courts don’t take up this issue, we will go international with the matter… For this we have decided to prepare the signature of 50 MPs based on the Parliament’s internal bylaw to prepare this complaint for international organizations and begin to follow up on going forward with this issue, meaning the subject of investigations, summoning, impeaching and so on…,” he continued.
