In an interview with Al-Wattan Kuwaiti daily Dr. Ayad Allawi warned Iranian regime to stop its interferences in internal affairs of Iraq and said: I hope Iranian regime in its calculation about Iraq is not mistaken that Iraq is left without any guardian and it is open to any tramp.

Answering a question about evaluation of Iranian intervention in Iraq Dr. Allawi said: Iranian intervention in Iraq is as obvious to every Iraqi as daylight and it has four reasons:
First, it is because of the Iranian regime fears of US attack after the fall of former Iraqi government. Second, taking advantage of vacuum of power as Iranian regime’s president underlined. Third, it is the policy of Iranian regime to become a regional power for covering its internal crises. Fourth, lack of an Arabic strategy to support Iraq and deag with crises in the Arab world.
I hope Iranian regime does not make this mistake that Iraq is left alone before any tramp. God willing Iraq will be out of this situation…
