In an interview with al-Baghdadiya TV, Dr. Ayad Allawi said now is not the time for a third Maliki term as prime minister, but the time of accountability and prosecution.
“In my opinion the issue of a third term for Maliki is not on the table anymore. What needs to be discussed now is carrying out a widespread probe by the parliament and prosecuting delegations, and even the federal court, regarding fraud and repressive measures, along with eliminating and firing people from their positions,” he added.
