Al Jazeera TV reported Yahiya Sanbal, Secretary-General of the Iraq Tribal Sheikhs Council said regarding the tribal forces attacks in Baghdad, “In Baghdad clashes are continuing between armed groups linked to military councils and Maliki forces that are full of militants.”
“Maliki’s forces and militants in Baghdad have not been able to stand against us and after Maliki’s army withdrew the individuals that are controlling him are militant forces and Iran’s Revolutionary Guards. Daily advances towards Baghdad are continuing with Maliki’s forces being able to even stop a feet of these forces’ advances,” he added.
“In our clashes against Maliki there is no coalition at all between the revolutionary tribal councils and the Islamic state organization,” Sanbal continued.
