
In total, armed men have opened four fronts towards the Iraqi capital of Baghdad.
In Anbar Province, Fallujah is now under complete control of armed men, with other cities such as Garme and Saqlaviya also being taken. Other areas such as Kabise and the town of Qaem located on the border with Syria, armed men are also on top.
In Neinawa Province, the Iraqi army crumbled in a matter of hours and armed men took control over the city, with all the weapons of the army including tanks and various military vehicles at their disposal. Areas under their control also stretch all the way to the border with Syria and the town of Tal Afar.
In Salahaddin Province, cities have fallen one by one to the armed men, including the major city of Tikrit, along with towns like Sharqat, Suleiman Bak, Addur and Zaluyia, Yathreb and al-As’haghi which is the closest to Baghdad.
Other province where the Iraqi army has withdrawn from is the Tamim Province and its capital of Kirkuk. Armed men are also in control in the city of Hawija, southwest of Kirkuk. In Diyala Province armed men up to now are in control of areas such as Meqdadiya and the district of Azim, located of 128 kilometers north of Baghdad.
