Al Jazeera TV: armed men make advances in Diyala Province

Abu Omar al-Jabouri, Al Jazeera TV reporter in Meqdadiya, Iraq:
The truth is that 18 Sunni villages are in the control of armed men. An hour ago armed men called on the soldiers of a battalion base to evacuate the site, with the battalion refusing and opening fire on a mosque. In response to this measure the revolutionaries attacked the army base.
The truth is what is taking place in Meqdadiya is very much similar to the same events taking place throughout Iraq. Those staging the attacks are revolutionary tribes and not ISIS or al-Qaeda. The same conditions are in Jalula that is parallel to the Kurdistan Region. Armed men attacked army bases and the locals confirm that ISIS was not among these groups.
Revolutionary tribes are very much active in these tribes. The revolutionaries have to this moment taken control over 18 villages and are advancing to an area by the name of Bazul in Meqdadiya.
