Diyala Province has witnessed new battles amongst Maliki’s force and Iraqi revolutionaries and armed men, Al Arabiya reported.
The 1st Battalion linked to the 5th Army Division has retreated from the town of Meqdadiya, Al Arabiya reported. Furthermore, police forces have also retreated from the Azim district and gone to Camp Ashraf.
