Iraqiya Coalition leader Dr. Ayad Allawi said the people of al-Anbar were not brought to demonstrations by Iraqiya Coalition leaders. In fact, they took to the streets due to the cruelty imposed on many prisoners and the way the country is being governed and managed which is based on political sectarianism.
“One of the reasons of the failures is the continuing presence of Iraqiya ministers in the government. They must quit the government. This government was formed based on national participation, the Arbil agreement and mechanisms for national participation. When we saw there was no national participation and there is no intent for participation, I said to them why are you staying in the government? You must quit the government,” Allawi said in an interview with Al-Hurra TV.
