The Protesters’ Coordination Committee in al-Anbar Province rejected the proposal of Sa’doon al-Doleimi, Iraq’s caretaker defense minister, mediating between them and Maliki.
Iraqi MP Walid Abud from the Iraqiya Coalition said the protesters’ fundamental requests include the release of innocent and female prisoners, and those involved in any way of harassment of female prisoners being held accountable for their crimes.
