Amnesty International (AI) released a statement expressing concern over the torture of eight student activists imprisoned by the Iranian regime in Tabriz, and asked for releasing them.

According to AI, the State Security Force agents have searched students’ homes and confiscated their personal properties. Also the students’ families have been oppressed and threatened by the regime and prohibited from contacting the children.
