Abbas arrives in Paris for a 3-day visit

The Gaza Post, July 4, 2017 – Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas arrived late Tuesday in Paris for a three-day official visit during which he is expected to meet his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, Prime Minister Edouard Philippe and other senior French officials.
Abbas, who is accompanied by Foreign Minister Riyad Malki and other senior Palestinian officials, arrived in France from Addis Ababa, where he addressed the African Union Summit.
He is scheduled to visit Tunisia after concluding his French visit and then travel to Egypt for a meeting with President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi, according to Palestine’s ambassador in Cairo Jamal Shoubaki.
