In an interview with Kuwaiti daily Asseyassa, an Egyptian diplomat revealed that 3,000 members of IRGC are now stationed in Lebanon and supervise 40,000 missiles stationed in that country by Hizbullah. Hizbullah is presently installing secretly platforms for far-range missiles in the coasts and heights in Bekaa region of Lebanon. They have pointed those missiles towards Europe.
This Egyptian diplomat added: The Iranian regime’s affiliated Hizbullah is a threat to Europe. The European parliamentary and security officials have been evaluating the political and military balance in Lebanon since occupation of Sunni region of Beirut and Druze region of Al-Jabal by Hizbullah since May this year. The officials’ concern is that Lebanon, the most democratic Middle East country, might turn into a safe haven for terrorists, like Afghanistan and Iraq, due to domination of Hizbullah. Since this country is located near Mediterranean Sea and opposite to Europe and Hizbullah would be able to install far-range missiles in this country and threatens Europe.
