Saudi Arabia is on the verge of providing more help to the Syrian people, said a senior official in the Saudi Foreign Minister to Al Arabiya TV on Friday, September 11th. From the beginning of the crisis nearly 2.5 million Syrians have gone to the Saudi soil and they have been welcomed as refugees.
Riyadh also intends to provide residency to those Syrian refugees who seek to remain Saudi Arabia, and provide similar living conditions to those already living in the country. Medical aid free of charge has been provided for these people and they are free in action in the work force and to seek education.
The aid provided by Saudi Arabia is for millions of Syrians in countries such as Jordan, Lebanon and other countries, this Saudi official added.
